Your first pilates class in Koh Samui: the intro offer, explained honestly

Almost everybody who trains at Isla started with the intro offer. It is ฿1,800 for three reformer classes — two paid, one free — and it is only for people who have not bought anything here before. This is what it is and what it is not.

Why three

One class tells you nothing; you spend it finding the springs. Two is where the reformer starts to make sense. Three is where you can honestly say whether this is for you. Selling a single trial class would be cheaper for us and worse for you.

The rules, plainly

• It is for new clients only, and it can be bought once.
• The three classes are yours; they cannot be shared with a friend. If you want to bring one, the desk can swap the pack for two single drop-ins at the same price, which can.
• The expiry window opens on your first class, not on the day you buy.

After the third

Most people know by then. If it is yours, the packs and prices has the packs — the eight-class pass and the unlimited month are where regulars end up. If you are only on the island a while longer, single classes at ฿900 need no commitment. And if you are coming back next year, the Isla retreat is the way to do a week of it with everything arranged.
