Before you read any further
This is not a holiday with pilates in it
It is for people who have been carrying something for a while — a desk, an injury, a year that took more than it gave — and want to come home moving better rather than just further from home. Solo travellers, first-timers and long-time practitioners all book it. You do not need to have touched a reformer before.
It is deliberately not for anyone chasing nightlife or a packed itinerary. The rhythm is slow on purpose, classes are small, and roughly every fourth day the only plan is the beach. If that sounds like too little, it is not the right retreat and we would rather say so now.

What you are actually buying
Three things people notice, in this order
You sleep
Usually by the third night. Daily movement, no alarm you did not set, and a body that has finally done enough during the day to be tired at the end of it.
The ache goes quiet
Small classes on wooden reformers, with a teacher watching you rather than a room. Most guests say the low back or the neck stops asking for attention somewhere around day four.
You take the method home
You leave with a plan written for your body — what to do, how often, and what to stop doing. The point is the six months after, not the week itself.
A day here
The same shape, however long you stay
Not an itinerary to keep up with. This is simply what a day looks like, and it holds whether you have three nights or three weeks.
- EarlyCoffee, and the sea before it gets hot. Nobody expects you at breakfast.
- Mid-morningReformer, in a class of ten or fewer. Your teacher already knows what your shoulder did yesterday.
- LunchAt the café, made for how you have just trained rather than for a menu photograph.
- AfternoonYours. A massage, the pool, the beach, a scooter and a beach you have not seen — or nothing at all.
- EveningDinner if you want company, your own terrace if you do not. Bophut is a few minutes away and full of places to eat.
A class a day is the shape, not a rule. Skip one and nobody minds — a rest day is part of how the rest of the week works.

Everything handled
What every night includes
One price, paid once. No class packs to top up, no taxi to negotiate at midnight, no working out where to eat on your second day.
A room you choose
A studio apartment a short walk away, our own seaview villa studio, or a suite at a beachfront resort — breakfast included at all but the apartment
Reformer, daily rhythm
One group class every day you are here, your place already booked
A place held for you
Every class is booked before you land — you never arrive to find it full
The studio, between classes
Come in and use it whenever you like, not only at your class time
Your ride to the studio
There and back, every day of your stay — getting anywhere else is yours
And what you add
Private sessions, massage, lunches, a sound bath, a scooter — each priced so you can see what it adds
Both airport runs
Met when you land and driven back when you leave — no negotiating a taxi at midnight
An Isla welcome kit
Waiting for you when you arrive
Where you sleep
Same retreat. You choose the room.
The classes, the food and the teaching do not change with the room — only the bed does, and how far you are from the studio. That is why the entry price is what it is, and why nobody is priced out of the retreat by a villa they did not want.
Four places to stay: a studio apartment a twelve-minute walk from the studio, our own seaview villa studio, a four-star resort on the sand at Chaweng, and beachfront suites at Bophut — one of them with a pool of its own. What is free changes with the dates, so the prices come with the dates.

How it works
Any dates, any length
Stay 3 nights or three weeks — you pick the dates, and the price follows the calendar rather than a fixed package.
- 01
Pick your dates
Arrival, how many nights, how many of you. The price is worked out night by night, so a stay that crosses a season is charged fairly for each part of it.
- 02
Choose your room
Every room we can offer for those exact nights, priced for your party, cheapest first — our own villas and the partner properties a few minutes away.
- 03
Add what you want
Private one-to-one reformer, massage, lunches, a scooter. Everything optional, each priced so you can see what it adds — your ride to the studio is already included.
- 04
We confirm, then you pay
We check the room is genuinely free — usually within a day — and only then send a link for the 50% deposit. The balance is due 30 days before you arrive.
The small print, in full
What you are agreeing to
- Asking costs nothing
- Choosing dates does not charge you and does not commit you. We check the room is genuinely free — usually the same day — and only then send a link to pay.
- 50% on confirmation
- Half once we have confirmed the room, which is what holds it. The rest is due 30 days before you arrive; we email you before then and nothing is ever taken automatically.
- Some rooms are stricter
- A few of the properties we book into are non-refundable from the moment the deposit is taken, and one asks for a refundable cash deposit at check-in. Whichever room you pick, its own terms are on the screen before you request it — never afterwards.
- Paying
- Card or bank transfer, in Thai baht. An international transfer can carry a 5% surcharge from the receiving bank; paying by card avoids it.
Asked every week
Before you enquire
- How many nights should I stay?
- Anything from three nights to thirty — you pick. Three is a proper reset and most people feel the change by the third class. Seven gives the body a full week to recalibrate. Ten or more is for deep, lasting change — a midpoint review, a second private, and time for new patterns to settle before you fly home.
- I have never done pilates.
- You are exactly who this is for. Classes are small and the teacher adjusts for mixed levels in the room; if you want a private one-to-one to set your baseline, it is there as an add-on when you book.
- How fit do I need to be?
- Moderately. The format is low-impact and joint-friendly — if you can walk a beach, you can do this week.
- I am travelling alone.
- Most guests are. The retreat is built for solo travellers who want contemplative space with company available, not forced.
- What about meals and dietary needs?
- Breakfast is included at Sasipimon and Cielo; the studio apartments have a kitchen of their own instead. Lunch at Isla Café is an add-on — a single lunch, a pack, or daily credit — and evenings are yours in Bophut. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free and nut allergies are all catered for at the café.
- Cancellation and payment?
- Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Once we confirm the room you pay half, and the rest 30 days before you arrive — by card or bank transfer, in baht. A few of the properties we book into are non-refundable from the moment that deposit is taken; whichever room you choose, its own terms are on screen before you request it.
The rooms go first, not the classes
There are ten reformers and a handful of rooms, so a week fills months ahead. Put your dates in and we will confirm the room the same day.
