Frequently asked
Everything a first-timer usually wants to know. Anything else, email us at contact@isla.fit.
- I have never done reformer pilates. Can I come?
- Yes, and most people who walk in have not. Classes are marked all-levels unless the name says otherwise, and the teacher will show you the machine before you start. The intro offer exists exactly for this — a few classes to find out whether it suits you, without committing to a pack.
- What should I bring, and what do I wear?
- Grippy socks are required — the reformer carriage moves, and bare feet slip. You can buy a pair at the studio if you forget. Otherwise leggings or shorts you can move in, and a water bottle. We have towels.
- How early should I arrive?
- Ten minutes before your first class, so the teacher can set your reformer up and go through anything you need to know. Five minutes after that. Doors close when the class starts, out of fairness to everyone already on a machine.
- Do I get a specific reformer?
- No, and that is deliberate. There are ten wooden reformers and ten places in a class — you book a place, then choose your machine when you arrive. Nothing to pick at checkout, nothing to get wrong.
- When do my credits expire?
- The clock starts when you use your first credit, not when you pay. A pack bought the day you land is not quietly counting down while you are at the beach. The exact window is on each pack and on your account page.
- Can I use a class pack for a private session?
- No. Class credits and private credits are separate — a class pack cannot pay for a private session, and a private credit cannot pay for a class. Both are on the memberships page.
- What if I need to cancel?
- Cancel free up to three hours before the class and the credit goes straight back. Inside three hours the credit is used, because the place cannot realistically be filled by then. You cancel from your account page in one tap.
- What if the class is full?
- Join the waitlist. If a place opens we email you a link to claim it — you confirm, and only then is a credit spent. Nobody is put into a class they did not agree to.
- How do I pay, and in what currency?
- Everything is priced and charged in Thai baht. We take cards online, and cards, PromptPay or cash at the studio. If your card is issued abroad your bank converts at their rate — the amount we charge is always the baht figure you see.
- Do you have a monthly membership?
- The Unlimited Monthly is a pack of thirty classes valid for thirty days, not a subscription. Nothing renews on its own and there is nothing to cancel.
- I am pregnant, or I have an injury.
- Tell us when you book — there is a note on your account that the teacher sees before the class starts, so you do not have to explain it at the door every time. Email us first if you are unsure whether a class is right for you.
- Where are you?
- Koh Samui, Thailand. Full directions and parking are in your booking confirmation email. Message us if you cannot find the door.
